The Gangster Tour

Today Bev and Fay went with us on a PI Community Ed bus trip to the Wabasha Street Caves (originally used to age cheese and grow mushrooms) with a bus tour around St Paul highlighting points of interest related to the era of gangsters in the city. The caves -a series of spaces that were made into a night club of sorts (quite high class for the times) were basically the gathering place for these criminals to plan their "activities" and relax away from the police. Our tour guide on the bus was the wife of a gangster and delighted in charming the men and taking part in kidnappings and bank robberies. She is a professional actor -Uof M grad in history and theatre -and I'd say she must have been at the top of her class in both areas. She flirted and joked with the driver and all of us as she spun the colorful stories of the past. I was mesmerized! Our tour guide. That's a tommy gun she's holding.
Does anyone see Sara L here?
