I was so frustrated with Blogger that, as you see, I gave up on it way over a year ago. Today, I had some pictures I wanted to share of a nice trek through the Lewiston woods so I set out to give it another try. Lo and behold, Blogger has yet another new twist so I updated and, yes, I have been able to make it work pretty well for me.
It was windy but quite pleasant in the valley where these pictures were taken. In the woods on top of the hill it was another story. We made a quick pass through, looking up and ahead of us for anything with potential to blow down. I didn't take any pictures but there is an abundance of Spring Beauties in full bloom. As usual, on our return home, the van took on a life of it's own and went straight to the Dairy Queen. A nice restful day after a busy weekend.

I love the raindrop background on your blog. Some of the changes are just recent. I may have to go looking for an update myself!
