Easter Weekend
Saturday Tony and I carpooled west - his destination: Whitewater State Park. Mine: Lewiston woods. As it was, we hung together for the afternoon. He did some serious sand sculpting while I hiked to Chimney Rock and Inspiration Point. Then we went on to the woods to poke around and make plans for spring work before everything gets thick and green.
This guy is relaxing on the beach with a huge sea turtle for a headrest.
Natalie and "Baby" were good friends today. She and her Mom and Dad joined the rest of us after their weekend with Mindy's folks. Brian and Kate had surprised us in time to get in on the second round of food at noon. They hadn't planned on even getting here today but because they did, our whole family was together.
Natalie filled her Elmo Easter basket with little treats the bunny left around the yard. He had flagged each treat with a colorful balloon that she had no trouble spotting. The rest of us had as much fun watching her as she did searching.
After Mom, Dad, Laur, Rand and Jon's family left Brian and I introduced Kate to Dominoes. A good family game is one of my favorite things to do when we get together. It's been a VERY good day from Sunrise Service to now, nearly Monday. (And I met my week's goal.......... I now have a profile photo!)

You must be extremely organized to take a trip like that the day before entertaining (quite elegantly, I might add!) a houseful of people! Jill was the only one missing. I bet you were tired last night. That was a long day for you!
