It can only get better from here

The business end of the paper tiger.
A bathroom facelift is my current winter project. With some help from Alan and lots of help from Jill it's coming along. Note the "paper tiger" tracks on the wallpaper. This is a great tool for perforating the paper, then by soaking it with diluted Downey (a tip from a stranger in the wallpaper aisle) and giving it plenty of time to soften the old paper pulls off in big hunks.

Jill primed all the woodwork which will be black. Alan did the cutting and Jill the routing of the new cabinet doors and drawers. You'll see them when everything gets put back together.

Getting the old paper off was the biggest challenge. I think the key is patience.

and this little buddy.

Oh,my gosh, you guys are at it again!! You just never know where you'll show up! How about Iowa next? I have a few walls I would like to repaint! Have you ever done a burnt orange room with a huge longhorn on one wall? Guess whose request that is?

Can't say that I've done burnt orange but we have 2 deer heads in the family room downstairs and I can guess that the longhorn and deer came from corresponding members of our families!

UM,sorry! Nothing that was previously living is going on any of my walls-I'll stick to a stencil! :)

I was informed by Mindy that the longhorn is for ASHTON'S favorite TEAM, not something of Tom's that's dead! Sorry.
