More sights....
The winter naturescapes were impressive.(Oops!)
We all went on a very short dog sled ride due to the wind and cold.
I skiied at Gooseberry Falls State Park for a total of around 7 hours on Friday before the bitter cold hit.
Three friends went with me for 4 days at a winter lodge north of Duluth.

That first picture is awesome! It looks like it could be some huge mountain off in the distance. What are the specifics on that?
No, those muffs are silvery-gray. And that 1st pic is part of the island just out from the big Marina near Silver Bay. The steam from the lake was rising and drifting past it.
